Second edit-pass batch of the ditc edit-pass program (after B1: 000 + 120). One author agent handled all three pages sequentially; deepnet integrated.

  • 210-install-onboard (tutorial): every fenced command line struck — the ASK callouts carry the commands (audit disposition); install defined once; imperative headings; one procedure voice.
  • 220-pick-tenant (tutorial): the read-only tour gets its one name and one definition; the two vendor parentheticals (Authentik, OpenBao) struck — 120 carries the once-in-parentheses forms; "on day one" narrative hit out; imperative headings.
  • 230-assistant-learns (how-to): imperative headings (including the closer, now "Move on to your first app"); the recap reworded so the glossary term "active tenant" (a 220 term, not in this page's requires chain) stays out — no map deviation; opener payoff moved to line 3.
  • 320-scaffold: one stale phrase ("the first look" → "the read-only tour") following 220's rename — integration-pass consistency fix.

Glossary: two new rows — install (defined_in: install-onboard), read-only tour (defined_in: pick-tenant). onboarding bundle / active tenant / service / skill already sat at the right pages, verified.

Frontmatter: doc_type per the page map (tutorial / tutorial / how-to), requires + introduces from the page-map rows, verified: ditc@2.4.4 (the FRESHNESS marker the edit-pass program lands).

Gates, all green per page and re-verified tree-wide at integration:

  • python3 tools/build-docs.py --no-coverage --draft → exit 0
  • python3 tools/check-prose.py --manual ditc → prose: clean
  • python3 tools/check-lockstep.py --manual ditc --synthesize → exit 0, 0 fail (43 terms)
  • python3 tools/build-docs.py --draft → exit 0
  • check-prose.sh --registry src/ditc/glossary.yaml <page> → exit 0 ×3, zero FAIL rows (ttfuf PASS at lines 2/2/3; opinion_floor out of scope for tutorial/how-to)

Plan-gate approval: PENDING — the Operator reads one page per batch; for B2 that is 220-pick-tenant.

Second edit-pass batch of the ditc edit-pass program (after B1: 000 + 120). Fences: all five struck (four ditc commands, one URL). Every command now
sits inline on its step line in backticks — AUTHORING §7's convention —
and each ASK callout carries the same commands verbatim in inline code,
so no fact is lost. The URL went inline too; the sentence carries it
cleanly, so no deviation to flag.

Procedure voice: the two bare-imperative steps in 'To keep ditc current'
joined the page's one voice — the reader asks, the ASK callout shows the
command ('Ask the assistant to rehearse…').

Headings: 'How setup works' -> 'Set up your computer for ditc'
(imperative, tutorial type).

Definitions: 'install' defined once at the top (the act of putting a tool
or an access on this computer so it works there); the onboarding bundle's
existing defining paragraph kept as the term's one definition.

Frontmatter: doc_type tutorial, requires [your-tenant], introduces
[onboarding bundle, install], verified ditc@2.4.4. Glossary: new inline-
map row for install, defined_in install-onboard.

Gate remedies (armada check-prose): ttfuf FAIL (payoff line 34) cleared
by an imperative-led opener sentence ('Install ditc in two steps…') —
payoff now line 2; opinion_floor FAIL cleared by doc_type: tutorial
(check is explanation-only). Gates 1-4 green; gate 5 exit 0
(WARN-only: em_dash_rate, readability, plain_first, owns_list_generous).

COMMON-ditc.md; audit disposition row 210-install-onboard.

Naming: the tour gets its one name — "the read-only tour" (previously
"the read-only first tour" / "the tour" / "the first look") — defined
once where the tour is taught: three read-only commands, in order,
before anything that changes the tenant. Summary, ASK callout, and the
procedure heading use the name. Glossary: new inline-map row for
read-only tour, defined_in pick-tenant.

Vendor glosses: the sign-in front door and the locked drawer lost their
(Authentik)/(OpenBao) parentheticals — 120 (earlier in reading order)
carries both once-in-parentheses forms; this page keeps the plain names.

Headings: 'The active tenant' -> 'Set the tenant every command touches';
'What your tenant already runs' -> 'Read what your tenant already runs';
'The first look around' -> 'Take the read-only tour' (tutorial type,
imperatives). '### To …' forms kept.

Procedure voice: all five steps joined the page's one voice — the reader
asks, the ASK callout shows the command (5308da6's convention). Fences
stay — the audit disposition removes fences only on 210.

Narrative hit: 'on day one' struck in the app-list step; the tour
definition itself replaces 'The first day has a set order'. The 'not a
wall' negative parallelism went with it; the courtesy/dry-run mechanism
kept.

Frontmatter: doc_type tutorial, requires [install-onboard], introduces
["active tenant", "read-only tour"], verified ditc@2.4.4. Summary keeps
its promise; only the tour's name in it changed.

Gate remedies (armada check-prose): ttfuf FAIL (payoff line 24) cleared
by an imperative-led opener ('Set one tenant as ditc's aim…') — payoff
now line 2; narrative_markers FAIL cleared; opinion_floor FAIL cleared
by doc_type: tutorial (check is explanation-only). Gates 1-4 green;
gate 5 exit 0 (WARN-only: em_dash_rate, readability, plain_first,
owns_list_generous — same WARN shape as landed 210/120).

Headings: 'The skill' -> 'Look inside a skill'; 'What converge does' ->
'Converge the skill pages'; 'Where this leaves you' -> 'Move on to your
first app' (how-to type, imperatives). Chosen over folding the recap
into the last procedure's closer — chapter-transition content sits
outside the converge procedure.

CONCEPT fix: the closing recap said 'the active tenant is set' — the
glossary anchors that term to pick-tenant, which the page map does not
put in this page's requires chain (210 only). Reworded to 'onboarded
and picked': the fact survives, the term is gone, requires stays
[install-onboard] — no map deviation. lockstep CONCEPT: 0 fail.

Procedure voice: both steps ask-voice ('Ask the assistant to rehearse…
If the rehearsal reads clean, ask the assistant to load them for real:');
the ASK callout keeps the one ask.

Reassurance/marketing: "the 'Ask your assistant' boxes … become plain
everyday talk" struck — the mechanism sentence beside it kept. The
refresh-on-update fact was stated twice (concept section and procedure
closer); the closer's imperative form stays, the concept-section
duplicate is cut.

Opener: ttfuf remedy — the backticked command now leads the first
sentence, payoff line 3; the 'not a figure of speech' flourish is gone,
the same-ground-phrased-for-it claim kept.

Frontmatter: doc_type how-to, requires [install-onboard], introduces
[skill], verified ditc@2.4.4. skill's definition sentence kept verbatim
— term and plain phrase stay tied; no second term coined.

Gates 1-4 green; gate 5 exit 0 (WARN-only: em_dash_rate, plain_first,
owns_list_generous). opinion_floor/ttfuf/narrative findings: none.

Edit-pass contract: program/ditc-contracts/EDIT-PASS-template.md +
COMMON-ditc.md; audit disposition row 230-assistant-learns.

One stale phrase in the before-you-begin list after the B2 rename of
the pick-tenant tour (633e517). Cross-page consistency from the
integration pass; no other line touched.
